Limited Lifetime Warranty Program

Our Commitment to You

At Wert, we stand behind the quality and durability of our StW cranks. We design and manufacture our products to withstand the rigors of serious riding, and we back that commitment with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original owner.

What's Covered

Your Wert StW cranks are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product to the original owner. This includes:

  • Structural failures of the crank arms

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or construction

  • Spindle or interface failures not caused by improper installation or maintenance

  • Premature wear beyond normal use expectations

 

What's NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover…ie the Limited part!:

  • Normal wear and tear including pedal thread wear, bearing surfaces, or finish deterioration

  • Crash or impact damage from accidents, drops, or collisions

  • Improper installation including incorrect torque specifications, incompatible bottom brackets, or use of incorrect tools

  • Modifications or alterations to the cranks

  • Neglect or lack of maintenance including failure to properly maintain bearings or clean components

  • Use beyond intended purpose including use in disciplines the product was not designed for

  • Cosmetic issues such as scratches, chips, or discoloration that don't affect function

  • Second-hand purchases - warranty applies to original purchaser only

  • Commercial or rental use

 

Warranty Period

Lifetime for the original owner from date of purchase.

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to products purchased directly at ridewert.com or through authorized Wert Dealers or Framebuilders.

 

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Before You Submit:

  1. Inspect your cranks - Take clear photos showing any defects or damage

  2. Gather documentation - Have your proof of purchase ready (receipt or order confirmation)

  3. Contact us first - Many issues can be resolved with technical support

Warranty Claim Process:

  1. Contact Wert Support
     Email: connect@ridewert.com
     Include:

    • Your name and contact information

    • Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order number)

    • Clear photos of the issue from multiple angles

    • Description of the problem and when it occurred

    • Installation details (bottom bracket type, torque used, etc.)

  2. Evaluation
     Our team will review your claim within 3-5 business days and determine if the issue is covered under warranty.

  3. Return Authorization
     If approved, we'll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Please do not ship products without an RMA number.

  4. Resolution
     Depending on the issue, we will:

    • Replace the defective component with the same or comparable model

    • Repair the component if possible

    • Offer store credit if the product is discontinued

 

Important Installation & Maintenance Notes

To ensure your warranty remains valid:

  • Follow torque specifications precisely (refer to installation manual)

  • Use compatible bottom brackets - verify compatibility before installation

  • Perform regular maintenance - inspect for looseness, wear, and proper function

  • Install with proper tools - use a torque wrench and correct installation tools

  • Keep it clean - remove dirt and debris regularly to prevent premature wear

 

 

Exclusions & Limitations

  • Wert is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including labor costs for removal/installation

  • Warranty covers product replacement only; shipping costs for warranty returns are the customer's responsibility

  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary by location

  • Wert reserves the right to make the final determination on all warranty claims
